Content

All content on FolderFort is protected by intellectual property laws. You’ll find a few different types of content on our service.

Your Files

You can back up, host, store, and share your own files on FolderFort. The materials you upload to FolderFort are yours and yours alone. You give us permission to use that material solely to provide our services, including storing, displaying, reproducing, and distributing those materials. We don’t sell the files you store with us to third parties, and we don’t use them for advertising purposes. We can disclose your files only in the limited circumstances described in our Privacy Notice.

Your Responsibilities

Your use of our services must comply with our Terms and applicable FolderFort policies, as well as applicable law, including:

  • Export control laws and regulations
  • Privacy laws
  • Intellectual property laws
  • Other third-party legal rights

You are solely responsible for the development, content, and use of the files you upload to FolderFort and assume all associated risks. By storing files with FolderFort, you represent that you have all necessary rights to store, use, and, if applicable, publicize that material. Our services allow you to share your files with others, and you are responsible for securing and protecting your account and files accordingly.

FolderFort does not actively monitor the files you upload, download, or share. However, we reserve the right to remove files and/or suspend your access if we become aware of violations of our Terms, applicable policies, or laws. We assume no liability for any content stored with FolderFort.

FolderFort’s Content and Brand Features

FolderFort may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. FolderFort grants you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, and non-exclusive license to use the software provided to access our services. If you violate these Terms, we may terminate this license. All rights to FolderFort—except third-party content—are the exclusive property of FolderFort and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms authorizes you to use FolderFort’s trademarks, logos, domain names, or other distinctive brand features unless otherwise permitted by law.

Prohibited Activities

To maintain a great service, you must comply with our Terms. Violations include, but are not limited to:

  • Engaging in illegal activities
  • Threatening, abusive, or harassing behavior
  • Harassing or abusing FolderFort personnel
  • Hosting or distributing malware, phishing, or spam
  • Interfering with FolderFort’s operations
  • Making files publicly available for mass download
  • Circumventing storage space limits or pricing
  • Using the FolderFort system inconsistently with its intended purpose

Service and Feature Changes

  • No Guaranteed Feature Set: FolderFort continually evolves, and we do not guarantee that any specific features, tools, or functionalities will remain available indefinitely.
  • New Features May Be Paid: Some features and updates may be released as paid upgrades, and we are not obligated to provide them for free, even to lifetime deal customers.
  • Modification Rights: We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or remove features at any time without notice.

Lifetime Deal Clarifications

  • Lifetime Deals Cover Core Features at Purchase Time: Customers purchasing a lifetime deal will receive only the features available at the time of purchase. Additional features, improvements, or expansions may be offered as separate purchases or subscriptions.
  • No Refunds for Feature Changes: We do not provide refunds or credits due to feature modifications, removals, or the introduction of premium options.
  • Definition of “Lifetime”: The term “lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the product, not the individual user. FolderFort reserves the right to discontinue the product or service at its discretion.

Pricing and Payment Terms

  • Price Adjustments: FolderFort reserves the right to change pricing structures for all plans, services, and features at any time.
  • Credits, Discounts, and Promotional Offers: Promotional offers and credits are not permanent and may be discontinued or changed without notice.
  • Account Termination Due to Abuse: If an account is found to be abusing our system, we reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate the account without compensation.

Fair Usage and System Protection

  • Usage Monitoring: We monitor system usage to prevent excessive resource consumption that could degrade service for other users.
  • Abuse Prevention Measures: FolderFort reserves the right to throttle bandwidth, restrict API calls, or implement other safeguards if an account’s activity negatively impacts system performance.
  • No Circumvention: Attempts to bypass storage limitations, pricing structures, or access restrictions may result in immediate account suspension.

Right to Terminate or Modify Accounts

  • Termination Without Liability: FolderFort may suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion without liability, compensation, or refund if:
    • A user violates our Terms of Service.
    • The account is found to be engaging in prohibited activities.
    • The service is discontinued.
  • Limited Liability for Data Loss: FolderFort is not responsible for data loss due to service interruptions, feature removals, or account terminations. Users are responsible for maintaining their own backups.

FolderFort may contain links to websites, services, and advertisements that we neither own nor control. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party sites, information, materials, products, or services.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement govern our collection and use of your personal information. You represent that you have provided all necessary privacy notices and obtained all necessary consents.
